So... I just found and installed a component that lets me embed youtube videos simply by pasting the URL into an article. This page is just a test of that. One here on the front page, and another after the link. Enjoy the excitement. BTW: Both of these videos are available in HD if you go to youtube and click the 'watch in HD' link. they are test shots with my new Canon HF10 HD camera.
Well maybe not all that, but we are going out to Seattle and the surrounding area for a few days and I though I'd post some pics from the road. Go to this page to see an album. Initially it is just empty folders, but if I have time (and an Internet connection) each night in the hotel I'll update things.

I'm trying out a new site theme tonight. I don't know if I'll keep it or not. I like the large banner image it lets me place on the top of the page, but don't particularly like the font colors used for the menu headings and article titles. Plus, the whole color scheme looks a bit 'cold' and industrial. If I keep this, I'll be making some edits to it.

As always, the DNS updates are messing things up. At this point, the basic scanline.com domain is pointed here, but the 'www.' and 'gallery.' subdomains are going... who knows where! And I don't want to KNOW where my MX (email) record is!
This all should resolve itself in the next 24-48 hours, but until then it might look like the site has a bunch of broken links. Until the 'gallery' subdomain fixes itself, you can use the links at the top of this page to cheat and go directly into the gallery's subdirectory.
